Is ‘Wealthy Affiliate’ Any Good?
I am an affiliate marketer and I always help people that want to dip their toes into
affiliate marketing. Of course, I want to provide the best possible information, so in my
spare time, I provide affiliate program reviews so that people won’t be misled.
You see, although there is no denying that there are legitimate affiliate programs out
there, there are some that are just there for your presence and your money. That is not
something that I would willingly want to happen, especially since I’ve experienced that in
the past as well. I’ve been in programs where my partner merchants do not pay me at
all and it sucks!
Anyway, I’ve been hearing a lot about Wealthy Affiliate and in today’s article, I will
provide you with my honest review about this particular affiliate program and so that you
can assess if this is trustworthy or not.
What is It?
Wealthy Affiliate is not your traditional affiliate program, although it can be once you
become their affiliate. Anyway, it is basically a sort of a resource program that helps
train people to become the best affiliates out there.
They provide weekly live coaching, as well as recorded sessions that people can play in
their spare time. New training are added frequently and people can also ask anyone
within the community about certain specific things.
You can sign up on their website for free but it will only give you a limited number of
resources. A premium membership is definitely where it’s at.
Some of the things that you can expect when you get a premium membership in
Wealthy Affiliate are:
- Website Security Package
- Live Coaching
- Live Help
- Website Backup
- Private Messaging
- 7-phase Affiliate Bootcamp Training
- Keyword Research Tool
- Live Video Classes
- Personal Affiliate Blog
- 1-on-1 coaching
- Training Classrooms
- Website Analysis
- 24/7/365 Website Support
- Video Walkthroughs
- Full Access to Beginner Training Courses
- And Many More!
As you can see, Wealthy Affiliate is unlike any other affiliate marketing coaching
program out there. They provide you with tons of different perks at an extremely
What I Like
There are so many things that I really love about Wealthy Affiliate. For one, they give
you a domain name and a website, all in one platform. You will receive weekly coaching
from one of their affiliate marketing experts and if there is something that you do not
understand fully well, you can ask them at any time after the discussion.
Aside from that, the website is filled with different resources that you can consume at
your leisure. It will definitely help you get started on the right path if you want to become
either a part-time or even full-time affiliate.
What I Don’t Like
Of course, a review article will not be complete without talking about the negatives. First
of all, Wealthy Affiliate shies away from the traditional forum format in favor of a more
community-based approach like live meetings, 1-on-1 coaching, etc.
Another thing that I don’t like is that although you can post your affiliate links and
promote some of your posts from your website on the platform, they have pretty strict
rules about spam and you definitely must know the rules. Otherwise, you will be
penalized for a really long time.
Lastly, I do not like the fact that people can just easily ask you so many questions, even
if you are just another member on the platform.
Other than that, I would still recommend this program to anyone who wants to delve
deeper into affiliate marketing.
